Welcome to the ENWC R Club, a student-run working group at University of Delaware's Entomology and Wildlife Ecology Department
We meet in TNS room 256 on Wednesdays from ~11am to 12pm.
10/27/2015 - I fixed the link to the exercise 1 key, sorry bout that!
10/23/2015 - Exercise 3 is up as well as the key for Exercise2!
I wanted to pass a long a tip I was reminded of today.
I have multiple files with supposedly the same column names, however, I mispelled the column names in one file by switching around the letters 'LC' and 'CL'.
These are big dbf files so I couldn't just easily change them in excel.
This piece did the trick quick and easy.
colnames(data) <- gsub('CL', 'LC', colnames(data))
Which switched all instances of capitalized CL to LC in the columns. This could also be done anywhere in the document if you wanted! Gsub just subs one phrase for the other even in the middle of words!
10/14/2015 - Exercise 2 is up as well as the key for Exercise 1! Check the links section, and go to our forums for hints ;)
